Performer, Teacher, and

Critics have praised her vocal performances, citing her "enchanting iridescence" (The Sarasota Herald-Tribune) and "dramatic energy and skill" (The Philadelphia Inquirer). Notable débuts include performances with The Santa Fe Opera (Peter Grimes) and Palm Beach Opera (Thaïs). In addition to her operatic appearances, she has performed as a soloist with organizations such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and given recitals, masterclasses, and residencies across the United States, Europe, and Australia. An enthusiastic proponent of classical art song, Martin recorded a disc with pianist Richard Masters, Let Evening Come: American Songs Old and New, released on Albany Records. The album was named one of the "Best Classical Recordings of 2020" by chief music critic Howard Reich in his Chicago Tribune column.

Martin’s creative vision extends beyond performance. She has directed and produced numerous opera projects and collaborated with contemporary composers to bring new works to life. In 2020, in response to the global shutdown, she co-founded em2CONNECT, a consulting business redefining arts education and support. This endeavor earned her a US Scholar Fulbright Award in the Netherlands (2022-2023), where she expanded her work supporting the next generation of artists. In addition to her Fulbright work on the voice faculty at the Royal Conservatory in the Hague, Martin taught residencies on American Art Song in Europe and has led other masterclasses and residencies around the world. A University of Utah SVI-trained vocologist and registered yoga teacher, she specializes in helping singers rediscover flexibility and joy in their voices.

Martin is the Ellen P. Williams Associate Professor of Music, Director of the Bucknell Voice Lab, and Faculty Fellow for the Pericelli-Gegnas Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Bucknell University. She is reshaping undergraduate music education by incorporating wellness, entrepreneurship, non-traditional repertoire, and community engagement into her innovative curriculum.
